Residents are being asked to give their views on services provided by our Operations Division by completing a short multiple choice survey about waste collections, street cleansing, grounds maintenance and council-run car parks.
The district council is responsible for the following areas:
- waste collections provided to over 70,000 domestic properties. We offer collections for residual waste, waste for recycling and garden and food waste. We also provide a number of bring sites for the collection of textiles, small electrical items and unwanted media items
- street cleansing of pavements and pedestrian areas, removing graffiti from public buildings and street names, removing illegal signs and fly-tipping, and providing litter bins
- grounds maintenance, including grass cutting, shrubs and tree pruning, play areas and annual beddings
- car parks within the town centres.
To complete the survey visit www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/operationssatisfaction. The survey will run until the end of January 2016.
You are encouraged to be as honest as you can as we want to understand how satisfied you are with the services we provide. You don’t have to leave any personal details unless you require a response to any of your answers.
Cllr Robin Carter, whose executive responsibilities include Operations, said: "It’s really important we understand how satisfied our customers are with the services we provide. Your feedback will help us to improve these services and make it more efficient in the future."
