The Tour of Cambridgeshire(ToC) cycling festival is taking place in the district on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 June 2017. It starts and finishes at the Peterborough Arena and Showground and takes in parts of Huntingdonshire and Fenland.
The ToC is a mass participation cycling event on fully closed roads and is made up of three parts - the individual and team ToC Chrono (time trial) on Saturday 3 June and the ToC Gran Fondo race on Sunday 4 June. The Gran Fondo covers 79.3 miles with up to 8,000 participants. The events are open to all, from elite athletes to leisure riders.
The events will involve road closures along the whole route, to protect participants, residents and spectators.View the Road Closures
Rolling road closures will be used wherever possible to reduce the impact on residents and businesses throughout the day. The route is split into sectors and each sector will have specific times for closures to help you plan your day.
The ToC organisers are sending letters to all households and businesses that are on the route, or directly affected by the road closures. They have also published a list of frequently asked questions on their website.
If you have any queries about the road closures, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
