On Saturday 16 April, 99 lucky cyclists and fitness enthusiasts got their chance to cycle with a world champion at a Cyclone launch event at One Leisure in St Ives.
Rebecca Romero MBE, who is a former world champion and Olympic medallist and the first British woman ever to compete in two different sports at the Olympic Games, headlined the event, with a master trainer from Matrix Fitness.
The launch event was the biggest indoor cycling event in the UK to feature the Matrix IC7 bikes, which are used by British Cycling's Laura Trott and Dani King, among other top cyclists.
The new bikes are now available at all One Leisure sites and feature the unique 'Coach by Colour' training zones. The bikes can be individually programmed, enabling all abilities to cycle at the same time. So, it doesn't matter if you aren't a world champion - you can still keep up with them on the ride.
