Update - 10 December 2021
Since launching our Growth Grants scheme on Monday 29 November, we have received a high volume of applications from local businesses.
The scheme is first-come, first-served and therefore, to ensure efficiency, as of 10 December, we are now pausing the application process until the full number of applications received has been reviewed against the size of the Growth Grant pot to determine how much, if any, funding remains.
We will provide further updates once this process has been determined. Thank you for your patience.
The new scheme offers business growth grants of up to £50,000 for local businesses operating in and from Huntingdonshire who have ambitious plans to scale and grow.
The Growth Grant scheme totals £1 million and is funded from the council’s receipt of Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) funding.
Local businesses can apply for a business growth grant from 29 November 2021, with the application process open to sole traders, micro and SMEs from any industry sector, including businesses who were impacted by the delayed move to Step 4 of the COVID-19 response Spring Roadmap. The scheme will run until March 2022 and will only remain open until the Growth Grant pot of £1 million has been exhausted.
We have also compiled an FAQ for this scheme.
