Further to the government announcement that England will move to Step 4 of the roadmap on 19 July 2021, we can confirm that our COVID support grant activity has now concluded.
Since March 2020 we have made grant payments totalling over £54 million of support to local businesses throughout the pandemic.
In the coming months, we may be eligible for further government business support funding to help support the local economic recovery until March 2022. We will communicate how any further funds will be spent in due course.
