Huntingdonshire District Council is using £157,000 of allocated funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) working with local businesses, community groups, your town councils and organisations such as the Huntingdon’s Business Improvement District and Huntingdonshire Business Against Crime.

Our work is focused on supporting small to medium-sized businesses in our market town high streets, to reopen and encourage our community to Think Local, choosing to support our local economy when you can, safely.

This is limited to business-focused measures:

  • support to develop our local action plans

  • communications and information for re-opening our towns

  • communications supporting the small and medium-sized businesses that make our unique towns special

  • business facing activities to support them to re-open safely

  • temporary changes to public spaces
