Eligible businesses will receive a one-off payment of £1,000 to cover the current national lockdown period (5 November – 2 December 2020). Should further restrictions come into force after 2 December, decisions will be made about any further discretionary grant funding.
Executive Leader of the Council, Cllr Ryan Fuller, said: "We understand how tough businesses are finding the second lockdown and, separately to the Local Restrictions Grant, this discretionary funding will hopefully go some way to helping more of our small local businesses who may not be able to access other financial support."
To be eligible for the Additional Restrictions Grant, a business must not be registered for business rates and must be in the business sectors listed below and have been required to stop, significantly change or reduce their normal operations to comply with lockdown regulations and the consequent restrictions in trade.
The Additional Restrictions Grant scheme is aimed at businesses that were eligible for the previous discretionary grant scheme in the summer, including bed and breakfasts, businesses that normally operate within a shared workspace, market traders and charities. They all must have their organisation based within the Huntingdonshire district area to qualify.
To apply, you must have a My.Huntingdonshire account to access the application form. If you don not already have an account, you will need to register for one. If you have already registered, you will need to sign in to your account and complete the application form.
