Do you have a genuine passion for group exercise and the vision to create, develop and deliver an exceptional group exercise programme across our One Leisure Centres? This could be the job for you!
We are looking for Group Exercise Supervisor that can grow our Group Exercise timetables, develop an exceptional instructor team and ensure our studio are to the highest standards, providing our customers a premium service every day.
You will need to hold a minimum Level 2 Fitness / Group Training /Exercise to Music qualification. You will have strong planning and organisation skills, be solutions driven and demonstrate you can think on your feet. You need effective communication skills, can lead by example delivering a 5 star experience to our customers, and bring energy to drive customer engagement and exceed penetration and occupancy targets.
The role would ideally suit either an internal candidate already delivering Group Exercise classes on our programme who wishes to take on the additional responsibility for maximising participation across the group exercise programmes at all One Leisure Centres. Or an external candidate who is already actively teaching group exercise classes and would use their experience to lead, manage and develop our Group Exercise Programme.
There will be a requirement to join our programme and teach on a variable hour Variable Fitness and Sports Instructor contract to further supplement this role. The hourly rate for a Variable Fitness and Sports Instructor is £21.52 (inclusive of market supplement).
This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
An offer of employment is conditional upon having the right to work in the UK. Huntingdonshire District Council does not hold a Sponsorship Licence and is unable to provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) or take over sponsorship for any role.
