About the role
We seek highly organised and proactive Project Co-ordinators to join our team. You will support project planning, execution, and delivery across departments, ensuring projects are on time, within scope, and on budget.
In this role, you will assist the Council’s Senior Leadership Team and Transformation Team by coordinating, administering, and governing project teams and programme boards as part of the wider Transformation programme. You will maintain compliance with Project Management Office standards and prepare effective documentation, monitoring, and progress reports. All risks, actions, issues, decisions, and contingencies must be managed and communicated clearly. Additionally, you will advise working groups and programme boards on capacity, capability, and assurance issues.
About you
You must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have good project management experience in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have coordinated complex projects and engaged with senior stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organisational skills are essential, along with a creative and commercially aware approach to problem-solving.
You need to be highly organised and analytical, able to communicate effectively with stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
