St Neots Town Council Eaton Ford Ward By-Election - Thursday 12 October 2023
A by-election will be held on Thursday 12 October 2023 for one seat on St Neots Town Council in the Eaton Ford Ward of the town.
The deadline to register to vote in this election is Tuesday 26 September 2023.
At these elections, you will need to provide photographic identification before you can vote at a polling station. Read our Voter ID page to learn more. If you do not have one of the required forms of ID, you can apply for a free voter authority certificate. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Wednesday 4 October 2023.
If you are unable to vote in person you can apply to vote by post or appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf.
If you wish to apply for a postal vote, please note that we must receive your application by 5pm, Wednesday 27 September 2023. You will not need photo ID to vote by post.
If you wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, they will need to go to your polling station and have their own photo ID to vote on your behalf. The deadline for proxy applications is 5pm, Wednesday, 4 October 2023.

Sawtry Neighbourhood Plan Referendum - Thursday 9 November 2023
A Referendum relating to the adoption of the Sawtry Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 9 November 2023.
The question which will be asked in the Referendum is:
"Do you want Huntingdonshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Sawtry to help it decide planning applications for the neighbourhood area?"
A person is entitled to vote in the Referendum if on 9 November 2023:

they are entitled to vote in a local government election in the Referendum area; and
-
their qualifying address for the election is in the Referendum area. A person's qualifying address is, in relation to a person registered in the Register of Electors, the address in respect of which he or she is entitled to be registered.
