Huntingdonshire Futures Grant Scheme - Now Open
The Huntingdonshire Futures grant scheme 2025 is open from 24th March until 30th June 2025, or sooner if the fund is exhausted.
A total of £40,000 is available in grants of £500 - £2,500 to local organisations for activities, and events that showcase and celebrate Huntingdonshire’s communities, heritage, and cultural identity.
This is aligned with the Pride in Place journey of the place strategy.
Applications must be for projects that are based in Huntingdonshire, and where the majority of beneficiaries are Huntingdonshire residents.

Apply for a Huntingdonshire Futures GrantCommunity Chest Grant Scheme 2024/25 - Paused
All applications received up to 25 February 2025 will be considered at the next Grant Panel meeting that is being held on Wednesday 19 March 2025.
All applicants will be notified whether or not they have been successful no later than 7 days after the date of the meeting.
We will post a notice here when it is known when the scheme will open again for applications.

Shop Front Grant Scheme - Closed
Thank you for your interest in the scheme. The last date for submissions was 1 September 2024 and the scheme has now closed for new applications.
Applicants who have had applications approved must ensure that their projects are completed by March 2025.
The Net Zero Villages Grant Scheme - Closed
The Net Zero Villages Grant Scheme is a fund provided by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) aimed at helping rural communities reduce their carbon footprint.
A total of £257,376.60 is available for distribution as grants. This funding will be 'capital' funding, meaning it cannot be used to generate revenue for an organisation.
Grants start at £5,000 and will go up to £50,000 per project.
There are 3 categories of projects:
- Tackling energy use and/or supporting energy efficiency or generation retrofit to community buildings
- Enabling access to public transport or access to local services through low carbon transport
- Nature-based solutions to tackle overheating of community buildings.
The projects must be able to demonstrate and measure the following impacts as relevant to their project:
- Reduce carbon emissions
- Reduce energy consumption
- Reduce running costs of community facilities
- Reducing the overheating of a building
- Demonstrating that a project can be replicated
- Ensure that the community are engaged in changes of behaviour towards tackling climate change.
Applicants must be for projects geographically located in Huntingdonshire. Please note that the market towns of St Neots, St Ives and Huntingdon are excluded from this application.

Rural England Prosperity Fund - Closed
The Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) is an addendum to the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. It aims to support activities that specifically address the particular challenges rural areas face.
Huntingdonshire District Council was allocated a total of £957,788, of which £350,000 has been allocated to support the growth of rural businesses.
