Environmental Issues

On 18 November, the community joined in with festive sustainable activities, talking about how they are already taking Climate Action and how we can make a difference moving forward.

The local community came together at Hinchingbrooke Country Park, learning about existing Climate Action community groups, recycling tips and fun family eco-activities such as Biodiversity Bingo via the new Seek app!

The Climate Conversation informs how Huntingdonshire District Council shall lead by example and help communities shape Huntingdonshire to be better adapted to Climate Change and develop the future of Net Zero.

We continue to ask local people to help keep the Climate Conversation going. Please fill in the survey below to help us all tackle Climate Change together. This survey helps us gain insight by recognising the incredible climate actions already happening across the district, as well as the barriers that communities may face when trying to tackle Climate Change. Let's keep the conversation going!

  • What are your climate priorities?
  • Do you know how you can minimise your impact on the environment?
  • What support do you need?
  • How can others help you reduce your carbon footprint?
