Following Huntingdonshire District Council’s declaration of a Climate and Ecological Emergency in 2023, the Climate Strategy [CSV, 0.8MB] has guided the council’s ambitious journey towards becoming a net zero carbon council by 2040. Recognising that community engagement is essential in addressing climate change, HDC hosts an annual Climate Conversation - an essential platform for reflection, learning, and collaboration.
On 6 November 2024, Huntingdonshire’s climate stakeholders came together for the second Climate Conversation Conference, reinforcing a shared commitment to a sustainable future. The event provided an opportunity for networking, project showcases, and knowledge sharing, delivering a powerful message: our community believes in a thriving, sustainable Huntingdonshire.
